Robert Holsen, DDS

I was born and raised in Oconomowoc, WI. After working for 2 other well established dental practices, I found myself back in my home town in 2019 to work under Dr. Bergmann and Dr. Hohm, and transitioned into ownership in 2020.

Like many dentists, my interest in the profession was piqued by a personal experience. As a young teen, I hit the back of a parked car while riding my bike and smashed my two front teeth. The dentist was able to eliminate my excruciating pain in the end, but the process was almost more painful than the injury itself. I remember thinking how great it would have been if the treatment could have been provided in a much less painful manner. I’ve made it my mission to make sure my patients feel relaxed, cared for, and comfortable throughout their treatment.

One of the most rewarding parts of dentistry is the opportunity to care for people and make a meaningful difference in their lives. I take my reputation seriously because it is built on the experiences of my patients and the trust they place in me. I am committed to serving with compassion and enhancing the well-being of our community for generations to come.

I graduated from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a Biology major and a Chemistry minor, while playing 4 years of college football. I attended Marquette University School of Dentistry and then did a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL.

Outside of the office I enjoy supporting my daughters in their various sports and activities. I also love boating and fishing, cheering on our WI teams – go Packers, Brewers & Bucks! – and tackling reasonable house projects.

I married my high school sweetheart, Megan, and we have three daughters.

Olivia Pogodzinski, DDS

As a Dousman native, I grew up in the area and am delighted to return to the Lake Country community I call home. My love of dentistry stems from my lifelong interest in art and science. Dentistry is an incredible combination of these two passions of mine, and I truly believe you can change a person’s life through dentistry.

I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, graduating with distinction, and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Prior to that, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Vocal Performance at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

With over six years of professional experience, I have honed my skills in comprehensive general dentistry including restorative procedures, implants, dentures, endodontics, oral surgery and emergency care for dental trauma. In my commitment to stay at the forefront of my field, I have pursued continuing education in minimally invasive endodontics, oral surgery, bone grafting and implant placement and restoration.

My goals align perfectly with Lake Country Family Dental, and that is to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. I am committed to compassionate and clear communication, making sure every visit feels comfortable and informative.

Outside the office, I enjoy singing with my husband in local opera and choral groups, exploring new restaurants, painting, practicing yoga and sailing.

Gottfried L. Hohm, DDS

My claim to fame is that I am the father of 11 children – six boys and five girls! Family is extremely important to me and reflects my philosophy of dental care: “Treat everyone like family.”

I was born in Germany and immigrated to the United States at age 10, becoming a citizen at age 16. I decided on a dental career at age 14. My mother worked for three dentists, and she often took me along to clean the offices. One of the dentists took a liking to me and introduced me to the wonderful world of dentistry. I never deviated from that goal and still feel as excited about my choice of career now as I did 48 years ago.

I enjoy getting to know my patients and performing their needed dental care in a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere, ensuring the highest level of quality and care.
