At Lake Country Family Dental, we know you have many choices when choosing a dentist. That’s why we’ve made setting up an appointment a simple process. If you can’t keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.

Financial Information, Insurance, and Payment Options

We understand that dental care can be a significant investment. We work with our patients so they can achieve and maintain a beautiful smile and healthier teeth and gums. We take the time to explain your treatment options and inform you of additional preventive care options. We feel this will lead to a more trusting doctor-patient relationship and, for many people, relieve the stress about seeing a dentist.


Our office accepts a variety of different insurance plans. We are in-network Premier Providers for Delta Dental, but we will gladly file out-of-network claims as well. It’s important to recognize that insurance is a contract between you and your insurance provider. We will work with you to ensure you receive the full benefits you are entitled to according to your plan. 


We file insurance claims as a courtesy for all of our patients and also accept assignment of benefits when allowed by your insurance plan. We do not file state insurance. Also, if you don't have delta dental, you need to make sure you have out of network benefits to have coverage at our office.

When you don't have any insurance, we offer 10% off on cash or check payments and 7% off on credit card payments.


Putting off dental treatment can lead to more serious conditions that put your oral health at risk. For this reason, we offer a third-party patient financing option designed to help you get the needed treatment now and pay it off over time. CareCredit has both interest-free and long-term payment plans available to fit any budget. You can apply online or over the phone and receive approval in just a few minutes.

  • Are You Accepting New Patients?

    Yes! Dr. Hohm and Dr. Holsen are accepting new patients. Please call the office to set up an appointment time that works best for you.

  • What Type of Insurance Do You Accept?

    We are a Delta Premier Provider, but we do accept ALL insurances. Please call our office so we can help you with this always puzzling question.

  • My Child May Not Sit Still for the Dentist. Should I Still Bring Him or Her In?

    Yes. A child who has a tough time sitting still will need additional support in getting used to the dental office. We can help them become familiar with the surroundings so that when it is time for their dental cleaning, they will be used to our office and the environment.

  • Will My Dental Crown or Bridge Be Noticeable?

    Modern dental materials and technology have dramatically improved the appearance of dental crowns and bridges. The porcelain used in today’s crowns and bridges can be color-matched to blend perfectly with the shade of your natural teeth.
