Now is a great time to go to the dentist!

It's safe to visit our office, and it’s important to use your benefits before the end of the year!

We at Lake Country Family Dental are following or exceeding all ADA, WDA and CDC guidelines. Even with COVID-19, it’s important not to delay your dental care. By delaying dental treatment, you are risking more extensive and expensive treatment down the road, what may be a simple filling now, could turn into a root canal later.

Taking care of your oral health can make a huge difference in your well-being and quality of life, this is no less true during COVID-19. “Millions of patients have safely visited their dentist in the past few months for the full range of dental services,” said Dr. Gehani, ADA President, “with appropriate PPE, dental care should continue to be delivered during global pandemics or other disaster situations.”

The American Dental Association released a statement on August 12 stating it “respectfully yet strongly disagrees” with the World Health Organization’s interim guidance recommending that “routine” dental care be delayed in certain situations because of COVID-19.

Now is also a great time to take advantage of everything your dental insurance provides, especially if you have outstanding treatment. Many insurance companies have a benefit deadline of Dec 31, which for most dental plans means any unused benefits will not roll over into the new year. Don’t let your 2020 dental benefits go to waste!

Our team at Lake Country Family Dental in Okauchee is here and ready to continue to serve you! We welcome you to schedule your appointment with Drs. Hohm and Holsen today!
